L'shanah tovah
For a good year.
Tomorrow I'll go do tashlich. I go to a body of running water, which much easier in my neighborhood than it is in, say, Arizona. I walk maybe a quarter of a mile to get to a sizeable creek and cast the crumbs from my pockets into the water, as if casting away my sins. I love doing this.

what a great ritual. L'shanah tovah.
Well what I do is put two cookies in my pocket, eat the cookies, and then clean out the crumbs. :)
I think I'd need bigger pockets.
That was a cookie in your pocket? I thought you were just happy to see me.
If I threw what was in my pocket *rummages around*
it would be;
a) an arrestable offence
b) an environmental hazard
c) a crying waste of good food
d) grounds for divorce
I love this!
What a beautiful tradition.
( you have sins? *smile*)
As always, thank you for sharing the traditions of your Faith, I feel so warm when I read them.
